Debut trailer for Dishonored released

Bethesda Softworks have released the debut trailer for Dishonored, an upcoming game being developed by Arkane Studios, following a tweet yesterday teasing a picture (below) of a game protagonist with the word “Tomorrow”.

The game sees you playing as a once-trusted bodyguard to the Empress who is framed for her murder, now known by the infamous mask which becomes your calling card as you turn assassin and hunt for the truth behind her death in a city ruled by the neo-industrialist government and besieged by the plague. New The Last of Us screenshots released

Recently Game Informer got a chance to play through a fifteen minute demo of The Last of Us to see what the game was like, even though they haven’t written anything yet Naughty Dog has released screenshots of the demo on their website. The Last of Us is a game revolving around and older man and a younger girl named Joel and Ellie. The most we know about the game is that it is supposed to be the first zombie game with a big emphasis on story. Hopefully we will see more at E3, until then check out the screenshots here.

Medal of Honor Warfighter Announce Trailer released

EA have released the announce trailer for Medal of Honor Warfighter, the next installment in the series which went modern in their last game, Medal of Honor.  You’ll once again be returning to the modern battlefield playing as Tier 1 soldiers and taking on the dangerous PETN.  Here’s the blurb straight from EA:

Assassin’s Creed 3 Reveal Trailer released

Ubisoft have released their reveal trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3 today.  It confirms the rumours and speculation of the game being set during the American revolution, and sees the new protagonist rising as a new assassin from the embers of his burning village.  “Born of Mohawk and British Blood, his fight for freedom and justice will be forged in the flames of revolution.”

The game is confirmed for an October 30th 2012 launch in the US and October 31st 2012 in the UK and will be coming to the PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360.  It has also been confirmed it is in development for the Wii U.  Check out the trailer below:

2nd official Max Payne 3 trailer released

Rockstar Games have released the 2nd official trailer for Max Payne 3 today.  It shows us a bit more about why he’s fighting the criminals and gangs in Brazil.  Max is trying to locate and take back the kidnapped wife of wealthy real estate mogul Rodrigo Branco.  The trailer shows lots of shooting, explosions and guns, “just another day at the office” as Max would say.  There’s still no indication as to why he shaved his full head of hair though, maybe it was too hot in Sao Paulo.

The game is coming out on May 15th 2012 in North America and May 18th 2012 in Europe on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with the PC version launching on May 29th 2012 in North America and June 1st 2012 in Europe.  For more information see the official website:  http://www.rockstargames.com/maxpayne3

Far Cry 3 Stranded trailer released

Ubisoft have today released a new trailer for their upcoming game, Far Cry 3.  Title “Stranded” it follows the main protagonist, Jason Brody, his girlfriend and friend as they go from backpacking on the Far Cry 3 to being kidnapped and running for his life from the ever so slightly mad Vaas.  It’s clearly a trailer designed to set up the backstory for the game.  If it keeps up this level of action and intensity throughout the game Ubisoft could be onto a sure winner.

You’ll be able to play the game on September 7th 2012.  Let’s just hope Ubisoft don’t package their awful always-on-DRM with the PC version.

Max Payne shoots stuff in 3 new screenshots

3 new screenshots for Max Payne 3 have been released showing  Max shooting guns with a range of states of hair.  These have obviously been taken from different sections in the game and they all have one thing in common: Guns, explosions and awesomeness.  It’s looking explosive and you’ll be able to play it when it comes out in May 2012, for now though check out the screenshots below. PS3 Gets Awesome Exclusives For Street Fighter X Tekken

Looks like the PS3 and the PS Vita are getting a good bit of characters that the Xbox 360 isn’t getting. The Sony versions of the game will include Pacman, Cole (from Infamous 2), Toro and Kuro and the original Megaman from NES, and no we don’t mean the pixelated one. A lot happened in 2011 for Ps3, it won some people with it’s threequels and it lost some people with it’s blackout. But it was a decent year for PSN over all with games such as Infamous: Festival of Blood and lighter titles such as Okabu. These all have probably burned out your hard drive and Sony thanks you by giving you a list of more games that you should download.
