After many month’s of anticipation,Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed III is finally out on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Unfortunately, PC gamers will have to wait until the 22nd of November to get their hands on this one. Another new feature for the Assassin’s Creed series has been announced by Ubisoft for the 3rd game. Players will be able to explore and navigate the open seas to command your own naval warship as well as taking on enemy warships in naval warfare. In the trailer after the break we see the player navigating their warship, using cannon and other weapons to take down enemy warships and boarding them to engage in close quarter combat. It all looks pretty impressive with the Anvil engine clearly working its magic here. Continue Reading

Ubisoft have released their reveal trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3 today. It confirms the rumours and speculation of the game being set during the American revolution, and sees the new protagonist rising as a new assassin from the embers of his burning village. “Born of Mohawk and British Blood, his fight for freedom and justice will be forged in the flames of revolution.”
The game is confirmed for an October 30th 2012 launch in the US and October 31st 2012 in the UK and will be coming to the PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360. It has also been confirmed it is in development for the Wii U. Check out the trailer below:
