Path of Exile Open Beta is Now Available

Grinding Gear Games began their official Open Beta testing for Path of Exile this week (Jan 23). For those who are unfamiliar with the name, Path of Exile is your typical dungeon crawler based Adventure RPG. At first glance, the game seems very similar to Blizzard’s Diablo series, but don’t be dissuaded by this. Path of Exile is the game that Diablo 3 should have been and has far surpassed most of my expectations when I first began playing in the Closed Beta.

Since my move to South Korea I’ve switched backed to console games due to the fact that all of the wonderful people I enjoy playing PC games with all live somewhere with at least a sixteen hour time difference. It makes it a little hard to coordinate playing games, not to mention trying to deal with server lag can sometimes be an absolute pain. Anyway, to make a long story short, we have a local video game vendor near where I am and I thought I’d peruse the selection. Baldur’s Gate 3 May Be On The Way

11 years have passed since the Baldur’s Gate has ended but the game remains fresh in our heads as one of the best RPG’s created. But the series has not come to a close yet, the Baldur’s Gate website is now teasing that something may be in the works. It has already been asked if it had anything to do with the re release on steam but it looks like it is a totally separate deal. It looks as if the game is being worked on at Beamdog which has made other HD ports for mobile devices. This is all the information that has been released at the moment but more is to come very soon according to Beamdog.
