Its been some time since I’ve written anything game related, so, I figured I’d return with a game that is nearly as old as I am and has been one of my favorite games since it has been out. In fact, I just finished playing it again.

Yes rabbits are cool, but what is even cooler is when the rabbit is an undead zombie and what is even cooler than that is a rabbit wearing a pirate hat and a shotgun using light sabers to drill through everything in it’s path. All of this can be found in Sega’s upcoming game Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit. Continue Reading
Since my move to South Korea I’ve switched backed to console games due to the fact that all of the wonderful people I enjoy playing PC games with all live somewhere with at least a sixteen hour time difference. It makes it a little hard to coordinate playing games, not to mention trying to deal with server lag can sometimes be an absolute pain. Anyway, to make a long story short, we have a local video game vendor near where I am and I thought I’d peruse the selection. I’ve picked out several games that, while in the states, I have never heard of, but have definitely been enjoying. The first of these games is, Resonance of Fate. Continue Reading
Today SEGA announced a sequel to their great kart racer Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Transformed! The first game was excellent and a refreshing title to add to our racing collection because a good kart racer is something that is hard to come by if it isn’t Mario Kart. This time around the karts will be switching to air and water along with land, less like Diddy Kong Racing and more like Mario Kart 7. Hopefully the game will be better than what the trailer shows.
New screens for the downloadable Sequel in the Sonic series is starting to look more and more like the Genesis sequel.
This time around we are seeing purple sonics, Tail’s and his plane and even dual abilities? There seems to be a couple of similarities with this game and the sequel to the original Sonic, we even get that fun 3D mini games for the chaos emeralds! You can check out the gallery over at destructoid.
Turn based strategy games are pretty big but Nobunaga’s Ambition is a series you may not have heard of. The franchise has been running for a long time in Japan based on the Sengoku Period of Feudal Japan where the goal of the player is to conquer and unify Japan. This seems to be a far fetched idea for the pokemon franchise. A turn based strategy game with the monsters sounds like a great idea, but I wonder whose idea it was to combine these two series. Let’s hope it gets a translation to english! Check out the new screenshots and trailer below!
For those of you who enjoy the better games of the Sonic franchise you would probably like to know that Episode 2 in the downloadable series Sonic The Hedgehog 4 has released a trailer. From the looks of it Metal Sonic is going to be the villain of the game and it looks like Sonic’s two tailed friend will be making an appearance, he will most likely be a playable character or maybe we will see a multiplayer mode similar to Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Also for those of you who haven’t been reading up on this game it looks like the Wii players are going to miss out on this episode. Check out the trailer below!
In keeping with the Holiday spirit and with the nearing of Hallow’s End, here are ten games, some new and some old, to play in the dark and give yourself a scare. While some of the graphics on these games may be a little out-dated they are still pretty decent and are suspenseful enough to keep you wondering what is around the next corner and make you jump when you least expect it. So, dust off that old console, turn out the lights, and get ready for some heart pounding, scream inducing video games. Continue Reading
