NVIDIA posted the image above on their GeForce Facebook page on April 18th 2012 teasing us with a shot of a product carrying the NVIDIA logo and the text “It’s coming”. Up until now we had no idea when they were planning on giving us more information, until yesterday when they posted another tweet on their GeForce twitter account with the same image and a web link to a post with more details.
The post on the GeForce website announces that Nvidia will be making a special announcement at the GeForce LAN/NVIDIA Gaming Festival (NGF) 2012 in Shanghai, China on April 28th at 7:30PM (PDT). NGF is one of the world’s largest PC gaming events with over 6,000 local and a whopping 500,000 online attendees. Pro gamers will be competing in various Starcraft 2, League of Legends and DOTA tournaments for large cash prizes.
You’ll be able to watch live coverage of the event and the announcement at www.GeForce.com, until then we can only speculate as to what this product might be and we may have an idea. Since NVIDIA recently released the GTX680 we know it definitely won’t be another flagship GPU and we can certainly guess it’ll be PC related considering it’s to be announced at a PC event. Jon personally thinks it could be something along the lines of an ITX PC. Going by the image NVIDIA have posted, the grills seem to be in the right places, and since Alienware released their ITX PC not long ago, it could well be a possibility.
We’ll have to wait until the 28th April to find out what NVIDIA have up their sleeves.

Yeah, it could be anything, but based on the image (not a lot to go on there), and the recent Alienware machine, my money is on an ITX or similarly small PC.
