The 2nd to last expansion for Battlefield 3 has a new trailer released that promises new weapons, new maps and new assignments. Following an earthquake that occurs in the single player campaign of Battlefield 3, the new expansion named Aftermath will be based on the concept of Iran being compromised and the survivors still have a couple of bullets left in them. This expansion will have maps such as Epicenter and Markaz Market that revolve more around maps with obliterated buildings and vertical combat. The new game mode, Scavenger, will have players competing to control multiple points and keeping tickets. The first team to reach zero tickets loses, so make sure that every bullet counts. The crossbow will also be making an intro this time in the game, giving players a new silent ranged way to take out enemies.
The new expansion will be released at a selling point of $14.99 on December 11 for PS3 and December 18 for PC and Xbox 360 if you are not a Battlefield Premium member. Battlefield Premium members will receive the expansion for free along with almost half of a month of early access, November 27 for PS3 and December 4 for PC and Xbox 360.
