Local multiplayer is a genre that most developers seem to forget these days, while there are games such as Borderlands and Halo, there aren’t any casual friendly multiplayer games that anyone can jump in and out of without becoming attached. SPORTSFRIENDS looks to accomplish the task of having a game that anyone can play at anytime, or even spectate, and still have tons of fun. While I could explain what these games are about, it’s a lot easier to watch the video below to really understand the vision that the developers have and the goal they want you to experience.
You can head over the the team’s Kickstarter to help fund the project and even get a little bit of the game for yourself if you are interested. The lowest payment for the game is $15 dollars right now, which gives you an alpha Mac/PC release of the game and a release copy on any platform you would like.
