It’s been a while since the last entry in the Hitman series, in fact the last game was released 6 years ago. This week on PSN there isn’t too much game wise to be excited about besides owning the first two entries in the Final Fantasy Franchise on your PS3 and if you want you can grab Choplifter HD. Demo wise though you should be very excited as you should be able to preview Asura’s Wrath and Final Fantasy XIII-2 weeks before they are released, thoughts on these demos will be posted by tomorrow. Sadly for those of you who were expecting Amy to be released today the date has been pushed back due to a misstep Lexis Numérique took by making the game three dollars more on PSN than XBLA but not to worry, next week you shall recieve Amy for only 9.99. If you enjoy RPG’s at all you know that the Fallout franchise is one of the biggest titles in the genre. Fallout 3 one many game of the year awards and New Vegas was not a disappointment either. Well for a while now there has been a dispute between Bethesda and Interplay about a Fallout MMO and who would create it. Originally when the argument first arose it was settled that Interplay was to have a 30 million dollar budget to create a game by April 2009 but the deadline was not reached (at least by Bethesda’s standards) and the game went back into the depths of the unknown. Many of you Fallout fans had probably already given up on the possibility of there ever being a Fallout MMO as these things tend to drag on until the end of time, but there is great news! Bethesda has announced that they have received all the rights to develop a Fallout MMO and by holiday season next year Bethesda will own the entire franchise.
The rumours about the Diablo III release date were quashed by Blizzard’s Community Manager via Twitter, @Bashiok, he said: “Diablo III does not have a release date. Any store or person claiming otherwise is guessing,” added by Akardo.
For all of you who have been waiting for the ages it looks like Diablo 3 finally has an official release date! Well….Best Buy official that is. It seems that in Rochester, Minnesota a countdown display for the game was spotted inside of a Best Buy store. Blizzard has not commented on this yet but it looks like Best Buy’s website reads the same date. For proof the picture is below, it has been checked and it is legitimate. IGN and Joystiq are looking for comments from Blizzard soon.

The Current minimum price is at 4.30 so pick up this great deal fast as every time someone buys the price goes up!

For a while now Miyamoto has been in the works with Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Pikmin 3, not to mention the big frenzy over him possibly leaving the video game industry. Recently in an interview with Zoomin he revealed that he is working on a new original title for Nintendo, which would be nice considering Nintendo seems to be lacking new original first party games. The interview of Miyamoto is below.
If you were looking forward to playing Gotham City Impostors next week then you are going to be waiting a little bit longer. After feedback from the beta that has been going for a good 2-3 months Monolith has announced that they are pushing the game’s release back to February for polish. Yes it is disappointing that we have to wait longer to quench our Batman thirsts but it’s good to know that the developers actually care about what they are releasing on to the market.
This week portable gaming has had more than the usual amount of news so we thought we would give you an update..
-Nekkei Trendy, a technology website for Japan, that the “Lite” model of the 3DS will be released in Japan during the first half of 2012 as many of you probably already predicted when they announced the 3DS in the first place. Hopefully this new model will have the Circle Pad Pro built into it.
– Also due to the low sales of the PS Vita shops in Japan (A little above 40,000 units, behind the 3DS, the PS3, the original PSP and even the Wii!) have been lowering their prices unofficially just to sell them from their stores, this has been happening more often with the 3G models than the regular models.
-A new Monster Hunter game has been rumored over in japan, this could be a spin off in the series or a port of the fourth title in the series which as it stands now is a 3DS exclusive.
-Capcom has confirmed that 3DS owners will be able to download the demo for Resident Evil Revelations later on this year.
-The 3DS has sold over 4 million units at this point in time, Nintendo states that this is more than the Wii sold in it’s first nine months. The regular Nintendo DS has sold over 10 Million.

We know you Kingdom Hearts fans are really tired with the sequels and spin offs of the Kingdom Hearts franchise and just want the series to actually move on but this new spin off for the 3DS looks so great! Although details are very small at the moment here’s what we can tell you..
-The Story line will take place directly before Kingdom Hearts 3 where Riku and Sora must take the keyblade mastery exam to become keyblade masters to stop Master Xehanort from returning.
– The game will have a story equal to that of a main game. Continue Reading
Today on Twitter, Team Meat shared that their game “Super Meat Boy” had sold 1 Million copies! This is a huge feat for the group as 1 million is not a small feat for an indie game. This record was probably reached over December because of the games inclusion in the Humble Indie Bundle and the huge sales that were going over in Steam. If you have no checked out Super Meat Boy yet it is definitely a title to check out, it has some of the hardest platforming that we have seen in a while, not to mention the most entertaining.
