The AirBuccaneers HD team have announced that development on their game, currently in the Alpha stage, will be receiving a major boost to its development throughout the short Finnish summer. Due to the days being very long and bright the time the team have cut back on their summer holidays to push through July so they can release the beta by this fall with loads of new content. The team have also announced that the game will see its full release by the end of the year.

Last week LudoCraft released the 0.60 Alpha update for AirBuccaneers HD. This is their biggest update so far and includes a new map called Trollivuono, new post process effects for the game and XP is now accumulated for both player’s characters equally.
LudoCraft have told us that this will be the game’s last major Alpha release before the Beta, but they will keep releasing smaller updates and fixes in the meantime. Check out the full patch notes after the break. Continue Reading
LudoCraft have today released Alpha 0.50 of their in-development multiplayer airship game, AirBuccaneers HD. On March 19th 2012 LudoCraft released Alpha 0.45 of their in-development multiplayer game, Air Buccaneers HD. The update has primarily seen the game undergo heavy optimisation with some new features added in including two different friendly birds which sit on your shoulders (One for the Vikings and the other for the Buccaneers) and a shield on your back for paying customers. LudoCraft Ltd have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game, AirBuccaneers HD. Currently in development in the Alpha phase, the trailer shows off various elements of the game including the various weapons available to use in the game, different ways of destroying and taking over enemy ships and a few of the maps. Ok, so you like to play games, we know that since you’re reading this post and this site. What we really want to do is play them with you. This is our huge monthly gaming session where the GTN team will be coming online together and playing games with you.
This month we’ve decided to try something a little different to the usual games we all play, AirBuccaneers HD. It’s a full game being made from the basis of a UT 2004 mod and involves players piloting air balloons around maps and firing cannons at one another to shoot ships down.
This is an Alpha version of the game, so it isn’t polished to the usual standards but it is extremely playable and fun, especially with friends.
So, you want to join us? Well, you’ll need to join our group on Steam if you haven’t already done so (Join here) and join our group chat on Friday 9th March 2012 from 20:00GMT onwards. You’ll also need to download the Alpha (Download here) and we’ll let you know all the details on the night.
