Playstation Plus is Sony’s paid online service for those PSN members that want a little more out of their console. Over the past two years Sony has released hundreds of discounts on the newest downloadable releases and taken the price tag off of some classic games for loyal gamers. Now the service will be giving portable gamers a reason to dust off their PS Vitas because Playstation Plus will be adding Vita support this November. The Vita will receive full retail games, discounts and 1GB of cloud storage for no extra fee if you are already a member. For those that aren’t the price will remain $18 for three months or $50 for one year.

Yes rabbits are cool, but what is even cooler is when the rabbit is an undead zombie and what is even cooler than that is a rabbit wearing a pirate hat and a shotgun using light sabers to drill through everything in it’s path. All of this can be found in Sega’s upcoming game Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit. Continue Reading

With the rise of pc gaming indie games have gone on a rampage because of the magical red carpet laid down by PC gaming and the internet opening the doors. Although with indie games being all the rage it’s almost impossible to really find a true gem unless it has sold millions of copies on steam. Luckily digital distributor GamersGate will be releasing a bundle this coming monday with some choice indie games that may have slipped under your radar for a price that is well worth your money, but it won’t be the average bundle full of indie games. The IndieFort Bundle is changing this time around and becoming The IndieFort Tournament. The fresh thing about The IndieFort Tournament is that all of the games in the bundle aren’t just there for your pleasure but they are also competing to become the king of the indies. Some of the games in the bundle include the following….

At this past weekend’s PAX convention fans were scrambling around the Konami booth because of Metal Gear Solid’s 25th year anniversary. Something big was bound to happen, sure there is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance coming out later this year but with the talks of a new Fox engine and Project ogre fluttering around something was bound to show up. Konami has delivered with an 11 minute in game demo of the next game in the Metal Gear series Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Continue Reading
VR may be rising again with the Oculus headset that is going to be arriving around christmas this year has another game for you to immerse yourself in at it’s release. The new free to play mech shooter Hawken will be launching later this year with the capability of using the Oculus Rift. This will give the player exclusive insight of the mechs cockpits and will truly immerse the player in the game.

The headset has already received support from id, as Doom 3 is the first game announced for the headset and there have been support from countless other developers. To check out a headset early you can pledge $300 or more to the team’s kickstarter to receive and alpha kit with Doom 3.
It may seem like it was just yesterday that the worlds of Cloud Strife and Mickey Mouse collided to create Kingdom hearts, but Dream Drop Distance marks 10 years of the series’ lifespan. By this point in time most gamers understand what Kingdom Hearts is and have decided whether or not it is a series that is worthy of their library, and Dream Drop Distance understands that about itself. For a Kingdom Hearts game with Disney characters, vibrant colors and wonderful music, Dream Drop Distance is the worst game for someone new to the series to be introduced to. The storyline has reached a point where it’s hard to make sense even for a seasoned Kingdom Hearts player and it’s fairly weaker than the other entries in the series, the gameplay is a bit more frustrating than the other entries, the storyline is a bit off and the game might be better off without some of the new features.
There was a time when video games were not taken so seriously, where you could pick up a PS2 game without knowing what it was and most of the time you could probably enjoy it, while playing Lollipop Chainsaw that is one of the things that I was reminded of constantly. While the game itself isn’t the most outstanding product that has been released in years the one thing that the game does perfectly is that it doesn’t’ try to be like any other game out there. Lollipop Chainsaw is a girly, sugar coated, zombie killing spree that is a campy joy ride to play through, most of the time you will enjoy it but besides the game’s atmosphere there are some problems that may break your immersion.
If you haven’t been on the Steam store page recently you may have missed that the famous Potato Sack Bundle is on sale again! Another year, another series that is made into a LEGO video game, not that anyone is complaining. Just in time for The Hobbit movie it looks like a LEGO Lord of the Rings is being developed right now. Similar to LEGO Batman 2 the game will have voice acting but this sounds like clips of audio from the actual movie. The trailer is a tad short of content but just enough to get any LOTR fan excited.
