NVIDIA posted the image above on their GeForce Facebook page on April 18th 2012 teasing us with a shot of a product carrying the NVIDIA logo and the text “It’s coming”. Up until now we had no idea when they were planning on giving us more information, until yesterday when they posted another tweet on their GeForce twitter account with the same image and a web link to a post with more details. Bethesda Softworks have released an update on the status of currently in-development game Prey 2 following rumours last month that it had been cancelled. Here’s the word straight from the horse’s mouth:
Development of Prey 2 has not been cancelled but the game will not be released in 2012 as planned. The delay is due to the fact that game development has not progressed satisfactorily this past year, and the game does not currently meet our quality standards. Prey 2 has shown great promise and we regret disappointing our fans. We have made a substantial investment in game development to deliver the experience fans want. We are determined only to release the AAA game that fans rightfully expect, and are unwilling to compromise our quality standards to meet a release schedule.
It’s great news since the game was looking to be shaping up very nicely with its promise of an open world, free running esque missions and gorgeous visuals. It’s nice to see the developer putting it back to make sure it’s up to their high standards.

Bethesda Softworks have released the debut trailer for Dishonored, an upcoming game being developed by Arkane Studios, following a tweet yesterday teasing a picture (below) of a game protagonist with the word “Tomorrow”.
The game sees you playing as a once-trusted bodyguard to the Empress who is framed for her murder, now known by the infamous mask which becomes your calling card as you turn assassin and hunt for the truth behind her death in a city ruled by the neo-industrialist government and besieged by the plague. With all the hype building up for the upcoming releases this year Capcom decided that it was time to give fans what they really wanted out of a special edition and it’s only for a low low price of $1,300 dollars! What would cost $1,300 though? A full sized replica of a resident evil zombie? A life time supply of green herbs? No neither of those, what you get is a leather jacket and some phone cases. Yup, that’s right if you decide to buy the special edition of Resident Evil 6, which is only going to be sold in Japan, you get a replica of Leon’s jacket and four phone cases with the characters too. Don’t worry of course you will get the game, where else do you think the rest of your $1,100 dollars are going? It seems really overpriced if you ask me, comparing to the special editions of games like Skyrim or Uncharted where the price never went anywhere near hitting the four digits and they were nice special editions too! That jacket better stop bullets! Or save me from a zombie apocalypse!

Note: This article was originally written by myself for a job application I sent a while back, hence the now dated news.
You might remember that in January Phil Robertson, head of HTC UK, announced their intentions to reduce their portfolio, recognising that they had released too many products last year. So, to bolster this intention HTC have unveiled their new One brand at their MWC conference, thus combining all of their top Android handsets under one umbrella.
Alongside the announcement of the One brand HTC have announced 3 new phones; all sporting Android 4.0 (ICS), the new HTC Sense 4, Beats by Dr. Dre Audio and HTC’s ImageChip and camera software. These are expected to be shipped globally by mid-April and are detailed after the break. Continue Reading

Recently Game Informer got a chance to play through a fifteen minute demo of The Last of Us to see what the game was like, even though they haven’t written anything yet Naughty Dog has released screenshots of the demo on their website. The Last of Us is a game revolving around and older man and a younger girl named Joel and Ellie. The most we know about the game is that it is supposed to be the first zombie game with a big emphasis on story. Hopefully we will see more at E3, until then check out the screenshots here.
