Windows Phone 7 users are often far behind when it comes to games on their phones. While we do have Xbox live and several games for it, we are often far behind the android market with games like Draw Something or Words with Friends. However, there is some relief for the WP7 users. Recently added to the marketplace is the Free game, Taptitude. Continue Reading
Note: This article was originally written by myself for a job application I sent a while back, hence the now dated news.
You might remember that in January Phil Robertson, head of HTC UK, announced their intentions to reduce their portfolio, recognising that they had released too many products last year. So, to bolster this intention HTC have unveiled their new One brand at their MWC conference, thus combining all of their top Android handsets under one umbrella.
Alongside the announcement of the One brand HTC have announced 3 new phones; all sporting Android 4.0 (ICS), the new HTC Sense 4, Beats by Dr. Dre Audio and HTC’s ImageChip and camera software. These are expected to be shipped globally by mid-April and are detailed after the break. Continue Reading
Back in the day Mario Party was the most intense game you could pop into a system. When this superstar competition went down between friends blood was shed, fingers were lost in A button mashing and you might have lost your palm to rotating the joy stick as fast as possible. Over the years though the games have lost their charm, competition and everything that made them fun originally. So our only hope was that Mario Party 9 would be redeeming the series as we hope with every entry. Sadly though, this is not the case at all and actually the very opposite. Continue Reading
It has been a long time since the last UT game (being UT3 in 2008 and die-hard fans would ignore that, preferring UT2004 or even UT99) and even longer since Quake III (1999). Since then all we have really had are casual multiplayer shooters with persistent unlocks and no real place in eSports. The setting of most of the popular multiplayer games also restricts their ability to be taken seriously as an eSport, Contemporary war or WWII doesn’t really mater, it is still war and therefore not a “game”.

Any gamer that plays RPG’s will tell you that they have either hated how Dragon Age II was corrupt or how much they hated the ending to Mass Effect 3. Well sorry folks this isn’t another tidbit about your space game but it looks like Bioware is already moving onto developing the next Dragon Age. The last entry in the series was a serious disappointment to almost every fan of the series because the game felt extremely rushed, as if they didn’t even care about what the final product was and were just cashing in on the Dragon Age name. Well Mark Darrah of Bioware wants to change that to the most of his, and his team’s ability. On the Bioware forums Mark has posted that the team has been going back through the games they made that were great and they wanted to explore new possibilities in these games because of how much video games have advanced over the past years. Because of the great upset of Dragon Age II the team wants to hear your opinion about what should happen in the next entry of the series. Mark writes, “The next thing for the Dragon Age team members and I to do is hear from you, and not just on the forums, or Facebook, or Twitter. We’ll be attending a number of conventions and gatherings, including PAX East in April. The most valuable thing we can get out of those meetings is to hear from you on those same topics – what does Dragon Age mean to you, and where would you like to see it go? We’re excited to hear what you have to say!” Also because of this action of moving onto the next Dragon Age Mark also has rejected any possibility for Dragon Age II DLC, but who is upset about that?
Rocket Science, how hard can it be? Well as BBC’s Top Gear found out, quite hard.

Recently Game Informer got a chance to play through a fifteen minute demo of The Last of Us to see what the game was like, even though they haven’t written anything yet Naughty Dog has released screenshots of the demo on their website. The Last of Us is a game revolving around and older man and a younger girl named Joel and Ellie. The most we know about the game is that it is supposed to be the first zombie game with a big emphasis on story. Hopefully we will see more at E3, until then check out the screenshots here.
Asus seem to be taking the transformer in their brand literally as they’ve transformed their tablet and keyboard dock series name from plain Transformer to Transformer Pads. During the same announcement, Asus announced the Transformer Pad Infinity series and Transformer Pad 300 series. Continue Reading
