Yes rabbits are cool, but what is even cooler is when the rabbit is an undead zombie and what is even cooler than that is a rabbit wearing a pirate hat and a shotgun using light sabers to drill through everything in it’s path. With the rise of pc gaming indie games have gone on a rampage because of the magical red carpet laid down by PC gaming and the internet opening the doors. Although with indie games being all the rage it’s almost impossible to really find a true gem unless it has sold millions of copies on steam. Luckily digital distributor GamersGate will be releasing a bundle this coming monday with some choice indie games that may have slipped under your radar for a price that is well worth your money, but it won’t be the average bundle full of indie games. The IndieFort Bundle is changing this time around and becoming The IndieFort Tournament. The fresh thing about The IndieFort Tournament is that all of the games in the bundle aren’t just there for your pleasure but they are also competing to become the king of the indies. Kojima shows off a new Fox and a new Snake

At this past weekend’s PAX convention fans were scrambling around the Konami booth because of Metal Gear Solid’s 25th year anniversary. Something big was bound to happen, sure there is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance coming out later this year but with the talks of a new Fox engine and Project ogre fluttering around something was bound to show up. Konami has delivered with an 11 minute in game demo of the next game in the Metal Gear series Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Continue Reading

Hawken will be supported by Oculus Rift

VR may be rising again with the Oculus headset that is going to be arriving around christmas this year has another game for you to immerse yourself in at it’s release. The new free to play mech shooter Hawken will be launching later this year with the capability of using the Oculus Rift. This will give the player exclusive insight of the mechs cockpits and will truly immerse the player in the game.

The headset has already received support from id, as Doom 3 is the first game announced for the headset and there have been support from countless other developers. To check out a headset early you can pledge $300 or more to the team’s kickstarter to receive and alpha kit with Doom 3.

After five years in development, Guild Wars 2 is officially released today, but many have already started their adventures using their headstart access they received for pre-purchasing/ordering the game. Fortunately, I managed to thieve myself a pre-purchase code, so I’ve spent most of this weekend in the world of Tyria.

The The ability to destroy a planet may be insignificant next to the power of the Force, but in a real time strategy I’m thinking it is pretty important… Well Planetary Annihilation will enable you to do just that assuming it gets the funding. 20 left days to go and an amazing $733,000 of their lofty $900,000 goal already, watch the pitch after the jump and you will see why.
