When Rovio was first founded back in 2003, few would have believed that their Angry Birds franchise would become as popular as it is today.

LG U+ are a mobile and telecommunications subsidiary of one of Korea’s largest conglomerates and they’ve just announced free Wi-Fi for anyone living in South Korea.
If you do live there, you’ll just need to register for an ID with them and then you can connect to their “Free_U+zone” absolutely free. The catch? Well, it’s actually quite a small one considering the benefits of the service, you have to sit through a 15 second commercial every hour you use the service. It’s hardly a bad trade off when you get the other 3,600 seconds to browse the web for free.

Yesterday Valve announced their first mobile application, Steam mobile, for iOS and Android devices.
Steam users will be able to log into the application, currently in an invite only Closed Beta, and chat to their friends on the go, browse community groups and user profiles, view screenshots and other generated content for their favourite games, read the latest gaming news, view Steam deals and more.
