LG U+ are a mobile and telecommunications subsidiary of one of Korea’s largest conglomerates and they’ve just announced free Wi-Fi for anyone living in South Korea.
If you do live there, you’ll just need to register for an ID with them and then you can connect to their “Free_U+zone” absolutely free. The catch? Well, it’s actually quite a small one considering the benefits of the service, you have to sit through a 15 second commercial every hour you use the service. It’s hardly a bad trade off when you get the other 3,600 seconds to browse the web for free.
