The new iPad 3 was announced yesterday at the Apple keynote event with specs and release dates, along with software updates for iOS5 and apps.
Rather than give it a label, it is simply “the new iPad”. And the new iPad will have a mega quad-core processor, the A5X, as well as a fancy Retina Display, which will be brighter and much sharper than the predecessor.
This gives the new iPad a 2048×1536 resolution, and you can expect it to look absolutely stunning.
It’s been a while since we have seen a full game from Rovio on our mobile phones. The last game that was a full release was Angry Birds Rio which was a based of the movie released at the time called “Rio”. But one cannot say that Rovio does not keep their games updated as seasons practically becomes a new game every time a holiday runs around and we are introduced to a new bird every couple of months. But now Rovio has announced the new game that will keep you glued to your phone for a hours which is Angry Birds Space! Part of the angry birds website has teased at this game with a slingshot in space which makes it pretty obvious, not to mention the image above. We can only hope that Wheatley is the next angry bird…
Yesterday it was announced that Steve Jobs had passed away at the age of 56 due to terminal cancer. This sent shockwaves throughout the world, not just to Apple lovers or tech fans but rival companies (Bill Gates), world leaders (Bill Gates) and more. Everyone is mourning the loss of a great inventor. Some have proclaimed him as the modern Henry Ford (Creator of the first modern production car) and I’d be inclined to agree. After returning to Apple in 1997 he’s headed a company which has sparked a massive technological innovation for our generation.
He made music portable with the launch of the Ipod, smart phones simple and cool with the launch of the Iphone and he caused tablets to actually take off on a large scale with the Ipad, something even Microsoft couldn’t pull off some years ago. Continue Reading
