A game can be determined a “masterpiece” by many things but one of the greatest things is not visible. Music can create every emotion ranging from happiness, sadness, fear and anger. It is also one of the strongest pieces of a game as it helps create the world that you are immersing yourself in. There are hundreds of moments that are increased by twenty times because of a bellowing horn or a catchy electronic tune. Some of these songs recall back to the days of 8 or 16-bit while others are great in their own right. These songs are all great in my personal opinion and have made gaming in the past year an incredible experience for me. Continue Reading

It’s hard to say whether or not one should respect the decision of Spike’s Video Game Awards with a ton of advertisements on upcoming games and celebrities get more attention than the actual deserving winners. Grinding Gear Games has spent countless hours doing their best to make a truly unique game and one of their most unique features is the Passive Talent Tree.
Path of Exile, developed by Grinding Gear Games is an action-based role-playing game with similar mechanics to that of Diablo 3. However, while Path of Exile may have some similarities, do not be fooled. This is NOT a knock-off alternative to Diablo. It is much more than that. When it comes to the latest and greatest in gaming hardware for the PC, I try very hard to keep up. Having had so much success with the GameCom 377, I decided it was time for an upgrade and purchased the GameCom 780.
As far as headsets go, I could not ask for more than what the GameCom 780 delievers.
Comfort wise, the GameCom 780 is great for extended use. With its lightweight and padded ear cushions, I’ve found myself able to listen to music and play no games with minimal discomfort.
This headset also offers crystal clear sound quality with its noise-cancelling mic, which is always an amazing thing when you are a raid leader with a noisy roommate. As an added bonus, the GameCom 780 also offers Dolby Digital 7.1 Surround Sound, a great feature when playing first person shooters when knowing what direction you are being shot from is essential. The cable strength is also a plus, as I am one who tends to forget I am wearing a headset and have, on more than one occasion, broken cables by walking away from my desk with my headset still on.
Overall, the GameCom 780 is an amazing headset with amazing sound and voice quality, and at $79.99, you really can’t beat the price for a great quality product.
