Asus seem to be taking the transformer in their brand literally as they’ve transformed their tablet and keyboard dock series name from plain Transformer to Transformer Pads. During the same announcement, Asus announced the Transformer Pad Infinity series and Transformer Pad 300 series. Continue Reading

LG U+ are a mobile and telecommunications subsidiary of one of Korea’s largest conglomerates and they’ve just announced free Wi-Fi for anyone living in South Korea.
If you do live there, you’ll just need to register for an ID with them and then you can connect to their “Free_U+zone” absolutely free. The catch? Well, it’s actually quite a small one considering the benefits of the service, you have to sit through a 15 second commercial every hour you use the service. It’s hardly a bad trade off when you get the other 3,600 seconds to browse the web for free.

The new iPad 3 was announced yesterday at the Apple keynote event with specs and release dates, along with software updates for iOS5 and apps.
Rather than give it a label, it is simply “the new iPad”. And the new iPad will have a mega quad-core processor, the A5X, as well as a fancy Retina Display, which will be brighter and much sharper than the predecessor.
This gives the new iPad a 2048×1536 resolution, and you can expect it to look absolutely stunning.
Telltale Games have released the 2nd episode in their talk show, Playing Dead, which focuses on behind the scenes information about their upcoming game The Walking Dead.
In this episode they talk to Gary Whitta, story consultant for their game and screenwriter for The Book of Eli, and Sean Vanaman, one of the game’s lead designers. They take a look at the art of expanding Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead universe in video game form and how the player’s choices will affect the game’s story as it progresses.
Telltale Games have also released 3 new screenshots for you to feast your eyes over. You can view those and the trailer after the break.

You’ll once again be returning to the modern battlefield playing as Tier 1 soldiers and taking on the dangerous PETN. Here’s the blurb straight from EA:

Powered by Frostbite 2, Medal of Honor Warfighter delivers an aggressive, gritty, and authentic experience that puts gamers in the boots of today’s most precise and disciplined warriors in an up close and personal look at today’s battlefield and the fight against the ongoing global terror threat. Inspired by actual events, and written by Tier 1 Operators while deployed overseas. When an extremely deadly explosive (PETN) penetrates civilian borders, Preacher and his fellow teammates are sent in to solve the problem.

11 years have passed since the Baldur’s Gate has ended but the game remains fresh in our heads as one of the best RPG’s created. But the series has not come to a close yet, the Baldur’s Gate website is now teasing that something may be in the works. It has already been asked if it had anything to do with the re release on steam but it looks like it is a totally separate deal. It looks as if the game is being worked on at Beamdog which has made other HD ports for mobile devices. This is all the information that has been released at the moment but more is to come very soon according to Beamdog.
Blacklight: Retribution has just moved from closed to open beta, I didn’t get much of a chance to play this free shooter while it was closed beta, but what I did play seemed very good, though the lack of air control was not to my taste (read “I used to play Quake and UT”) the movement was fluid and shooting was responsive, no console type acceleration here. It runs on UE3, so as you can imagine it not only looks brilliant but also runs as smooth as silk. Developer video and E3 Trailer after the jump.

Part of the angry birds website has teased at this game with a slingshot in space which makes it pretty obvious, not to mention the image above.
