The first 20 minutes of gameplay from The Elder Scrolls Online, Bethesda’s new entry into the Elder Scrolls series, was leaked earlier today.

Any links to the footage will not be found here, but it has been bounced around a number of video-sharing websites. It was originally shared on YouTube and has since been  removed for a copyright infringement claimed by ZeniMax Media Inc.

Luigis-Mansion-Dark-Moon-2

The floorboards creak, the windows quietly scream horror, the lighting crashes……AH! It’s a ghost! This is what Luigi goes through every night at his new job, a ghost hunter. It’s been a while since the brother has been in the spotlight, in fact it has been over 10 years but Luigi’s Mansion 2 is a great way to kick off the year of Luigi, the green capped brother should be proud. Rapture to Columbia, a preview of Bioshock Infinite

Bioshock Rapture Bioshock Columbia

This may surprise you, but it’s been almost five and a half years since Bioshock was released. If anything, that makes me feel old. 2007 was quite awhile ago, and it’s safe to say a lot has happened between then and now: The iPhone (which, ironically, my 2007 edition of Word is underlining in red), President Obama, and that other Bioshock game to name some. And on the advent of the spiritual sequel to the world of Rapture, it’s only fair to take a look at what it was in the first game that made it what we remember it for.  Continue Reading

Anodyne: A Boy and His Broom

desura_headerSince the uprising of indie games one of the most popular style of game has been the retro throwback. These games are typically 8 or 16-bit style trying to bring people back to the way games used to be, fun, colorful and pixelated! Anodyne is another game that fits this description but has unique features of it’s own such as vibrant art and fun dialogue.  Continue Reading

Well this is an interesting turn of events…

OK first thing first, the indie fighting game Skullgirls, after much trouble that I won’t go into, is back on track. They are currently porting to Windows and Linux and are running a donation drive on Indiegogo to fund what will be an initially free DLC. The total amount raised will determine just how big the DLC will be and as of last night enough has been raised for two characters and their story mode and stages with a stretch goal for the third character still some way away.

He's knows. everything.

He’s knows. everything.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is one of the best side scrolling beat-em ups that has been released this generation, it stands up to modern indies in the same genre such as Castle Crashers and Shank or classics like Double Dragon and Streets of Rage. But why is it getting DLC that was scheduled to be released almost a year ago when the game released all the way back in fall 2010? Continue Reading
